You asked for forgiveness, now you have it.
It’s been paid for.
It’s over.
Oh yes, you’ll sin again, more times than you can count.
And there will be confession and repentance.
But it’s all been paid for.
You. Are. Forgiven.
You can wallow in the emotion of guilt, but the fact that you’ve been forgiven, means that you’ve been declared guilty, and that guilt has been taken away.
Guilt can no longer be the compass you use to guide your way.
It doesn’t exist anymore.
It was paid for with a price beyond your wildest imagination.
The love of God Himself, in human form, came here, to this world, to ransom you.
When you feel the desire to beat up on yourself, and to dwell on your many sins, this thought will explode in your mind: Yes… but I’m forgiven.
This forgiveness changes everything.
You can already feel thankfulness turning the tide and taking over.
Thanksgiving and grateful love are swelling in your chest, your limbs are ready for action.
Forgiveness is yours.
